Pathiksha Naidu

I'm excited to introduce myself to all my new friends. My journey began 18 years ago when I left the pharmaceutical industry to pursue my passion for wellness and healing. As a yoga instructor and NLP coach, I guide individuals from beginner to advanced yoga, promoting holistic healing. I initially founded Contours Express Overport, an all-women's gym, incorporating fun classes like belly dancing and Zumba. My journey then took me to Dubai, where I helped establish the first ladies-only gym at Fitness First. In 2011, I returned to South Africa, certified as a Hot Yoga Instructor in Koh Samui, and opened Durban's first Hot Yoga studio, which thrived for a decade. Recently, I've relocated to Gauteng, continuing my commitment to yoga and holistic wellness. Since 2015, Prathiksha has spread joy and wellness through laughter therapy/coaching, transforming countless lives. Her expertise in laughter yoga has made her a sought-after coach, bringing smiles and positivity to every session. Whether working with individuals, groups, or corporate teams, Prathiksha’s uplifting approach creates a unique and unforgettable experience.

Join Prathiksha, a seasoned yoga instructor with 26+ years of practice, for an invigorating yoga experience. Her expertise spans Hatha, power yoga, meditation, and breathwork. With certifications from Swami Vivekananda Institute and Absolute Yoga Academy, Her goal is to guide her patrons on their journey to inner peace , physical vitality , and mental clarity.

2005: After extensive teacher training at the Swami Vivekananda Institute in Bangalore, India, Prathiksha began teaching Hatha Yoga, sharing her awareness of the energetic body to empower those who practice consistently with devotion and dedication.

2010: After completing a 200-hour teacher training certification in Koh Samui, Thailand, Prathiksha opened Hot Yoga Durban. Since then, she has transformed hundreds of bodies with over 3,500 hours of teaching time.

2011: Prathiksha returned to South Africa as a certified Hot Yoga Instructor and opened Durban's first Hot Yoga studio, which thrived for a decade.

2017: Prathiksha's interest in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) led her to become certified, enabling her to incorporate these techniques to help individuals consistently achieve desired results. Combining unique yoga sequences and coaching, she helps people discover and reprogram their mental patterns and strategies, achieving what once felt impossible.

Recent Years: Prathiksha has relocated to Gauteng, continuing her commitment to yoga and holistic wellness.

Backbends, hip openers, and spinal twists have all contributed to better posture and reduced tension in my body.
