EMPOWERING WOMEN FROM WITHIN: BREAKING PHYSICAL AND MENTAL BARRIERS - Dr Lizelle Grobler

As we celebrate Women’s Month and honour the remarkable achievements of women, it’s essential to also acknowledge the challenges that often undermine their well-being.

Among these challenges, negative self-talk and a lack of self-confidence are pervasive issues that many women face.

In situations of domestic violence, these mental barriers can prevent women from defending themselves effectively, both physically and mentally.

A negative mindset can erode your ability to seek solutions, potentially leading to depression and diminished self-esteem.

Dr Lizelle Grobler, a renowned forensic psychophysiologist, profiler, hypnotist, mentalist and CEO of Iqiniso Forensic, emphasizes the importance of recognizing when your thought patterns are detrimental.

“How do I break free from these depressing self-talk cycles? How do I stay strong for my children?” These are questions that many women ask themselves. Through our Mind Mastery training, we equip you with the skills to overcome these challenges, offering powerful tools like memory access techniques that can transform your mindset.”

“Put a smile on your face, wrinkle that nose… keep your head, heels and standards high, and show the world who you are”, has always been Grobler’s motto.

Given that women may not always possess the same physical strength as men, mastering the mind becomes crucial. “Trained visualization techniques can help you surpass physical limits almost instantly. In life-threatening situations, such as domestic violence, mind mastery can significantly enhance your physical strength and resilience on demand, making you up to three times stronger and heavier in seconds. This could be the difference between life and death,” says Grobler.

“We offer women the opportunity to reclaim their power through our weekend retreats. These retreats teach both mental and physical self-defence skills, focusing on Krav Maga close combat training, escape and evasion techniques, and weapons training. Women must be empowered and with the right tools we can give them the confidence and skills to defend themselves when necessary.”

According to Lizelle, self-defence is not just about physical capability; it reflects a woman’s inner strength and self-belief.

The phrase “toughen up” means to make something stronger so that it is not easily broken. This is the essence of what she teaches – fortifying both the body and the mind.

In addition to our work with individuals, Grobler and her team offer extensive Mind Mastery and Facial Profiling training for corporate environments.

In today’s fast-paced corporate world, having the right skills can provide a significant edge. Theses skills not only improve decision-making but also enhance interpersonal dynamics, ultimately transforming the work environment into a more collaborative and productive space.

Dr Grobler emphasizes the importance of approaching work with intention and purpose: “Don’t just go to work because you have to; don’t just offer a service; change a life. Surround yourself with the light bringers, the magic makers, the world shifters, and the game shakers. These individuals will challenge you, break you open, uplift, and expand you. These heartbeats are your people; these people are your tribe.”

Imagine a world where you can genuinely say this about the people you work with every day – where your professional circle is filled with those who inspire and push you towards greatness. This reality is possible, and it starts with you. Change begins with the choice to surround yourself with individualsh who elevate your life and work.
