Wendy van den Berg’s passion for beauty began in 2008 in the nail industry. At the time, she was working as a Corporate VVIP Flight Attendant, but her love for precision, beauty and transformation soon led her into the world of lashes and aesthetics.

In 2012, Wendy completed her first Lash Extension course and continued to expand her expertise through advanced training in eyelash extensions, including studies of the human eye. Her dedication and skill later saw her become a Lash Extension Trainer for Xtreme Lashes South Africa, where she also received the Top Stylist Award and Top Volume Stylist Award.

Wendy qualified through the AIIC, American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics, and Premier Permanent Beauty Academy as an Advanced Intradermal Cosmetic Technician. This journey inspired her to establish her full-time business, Aesthetika Intradermal Cosmetic Practice (Pty) Ltd, where she combines technical expertise with an artistic eye and a deep commitment to client care.

Her career has also taken her onto respected industry platforms. Wendy served as the medical piercer at the Premier World Conference and attended the Xtreme Lashes Conference in Amsterdam, further broadening her international industry knowledge.

Today, Wendy continues to expand her horizons as an Aesthetic Educator and MediLash Educator for MediWellness Training Academy. Her speciality lies in paramedical procedures, with a particular focus on wounds and scars, where her work helps clients regain confidence through advanced aesthetic techniques.

Wendy has also been recognised with SA Women of the Year Awards in Training and Education, as well as in Health, Beauty and Wellness, a reflection of her dedication, expertise and meaningful contribution to the beauty and aesthetics industry.

Wendy van den Berg is a Mrs. Supranational South Africa finalist for 2026, the owner of Aesthetika Intradermal Cosmetic Practice, and Momtrepreneur Magazine Gauteng.

Specialising in paramedical procedures for wounds and scars, Wendy uses her skills to restore confidence, dignity, and self-worth. She is also an aesthetics educator, mentor, Co-Founder and Director of the Born With Purpose Foundation, and an advocate against human trafficking and human rights violations.

Her 2025 achievements include Woman of Wonder Award recipient, South Africa Women of the Year in Training & Education, Health, Beauty & Wellness, and Overall Winner.
