Anthea Adams: Beauty, Art and Purpose in Motion

Anthea Adams is a Mrs Supranational South Africa 2026 finalist and currently ranked in the Top 25, a woman who embodies grace, determination, and the courage to pursue her dreams at every stage of life. Beyond the pageant platform, she is a devoted wife, loving mother, entrepreneur, and creative spirit with a deep passion for all things beauty.

For the past 13 years, Anthea has built her career as a fine artist, creating paintings across a variety of materials and expressing her creativity through her work. While navigating life as a newlywed wife and first-time mother, she chose to pursue a childhood dream of studying within the beauty industry. Despite the demands of balancing family, art, and work, she remained committed to her vision and eventually qualified as a beautician.

Her journey led her to gain valuable experience in both salons and retail, further strengthening her knowledge and passion for the industry. In 2025, at the age of 44, Anthea made a life-changing decision. Realising that she had not yet fully completed the dream she had carried since childhood, she left her retail career behind and stepped fully into her own business, Nails & Beauty by Thea. Since taking that bold step, she has found greater fulfilment, happiness, and purpose, a journey that has also brought joy to her family.

Anthea’s story is one of resilience, growth, and faith in new beginnings. Through her life and platform, she hopes to inspire her daughters and others to believe that it is never too late to pursue what is placed on your heart. Her message is simple yet powerful: take the first step, because when you truly love what you do, it no longer feels like work.
