Local Radio Presenter Manani Botes Crowned Finalist for Mrs Supranational South Africa
Jacaranda FM radio presenter and motivational speaker Manani Botes is stepping into an inspiring new season of purpose, empowerment and personal growth as she prepares to compete as a finalist in the Mrs Supranational South Africa pageant this June.
With a professional background spanning more than a decade in sales, marketing and management, Botes says her journey into the world of pageantry has been deeply transformative. After participating in a pageant last year, she describes the experience as a powerful turning point that challenged her, shaped her character and reignited her passion to use her voice to make a meaningful impact.
“Last year’s journey shaped me in ways I never imagined. It was filled with lessons, growth and beautiful moments that helped me rediscover my purpose,” she shared.
Now, as she prepares for the Mrs Supranational South Africa competition, Botes is focused on far more than the possibility of wearing a crown. For her, the platform represents an opportunity to advocate for women and children, while inspiring young people to recognise their value and potential.
In the months leading up to the competition, she plans to immerse herself in community initiatives, including charity projects and school visits. Through these engagements, she hopes to speak openly with young girls about self care, confidence and self worth. She also wants to encourage young boys to grow into responsible leaders who contribute positively to their communities and society as a whole.
“I want young people to believe in their value and understand that they have the power to shape their future,” Botes explained. “If I can use my voice to inspire even one young person to see their potential, then this journey is already worth it.”
The Mrs Supranational South Africa preliminaries are set to take place on 19 June, followed by the highly anticipated Grand Finale on 20 June, where finalists from across the country will compete for the prestigious national title.
While bringing the crown home would be a proud and memorable achievement, Botes says her journey is guided by something far deeper than competition alone.
“The goal is always to win, but more than anything, I trust that what God has planned for my life will unfold exactly as it should,” she said.
As the pageant approaches, Manani Botes continues to embrace every opportunity to grow, serve and inspire. Her journey stands as a powerful reminder that pageantry is not only about beauty or titles, but about leadership, advocacy and creating lasting, positive change.
