With over 30 years of experience in the beauty industry, Sabine Glen has become much more than a master aesthetician — she has emerged as a mentor, an industry leader, and a champion for women empowerment. Known not only for her professionalism and meticulous skill but also for her warmth and generosity of spirit, Sabine has dedicated her career to creating opportunities for women and shaping the future of beauty in South Africa.
Born in Germany and raised in South Africa since 1985, Sabine’s journey is rooted in education and growth. After completing her training at Camelot Health & Beauty and later adding internationally recognised CIBTAC and BABTAC accreditations, she committed herself to continuous learning. Over the years, she qualified in advanced aesthetics, mesotherapy, laser therapy, peels, slimming, and more — but what makes her story unique is how she has shared this knowledge to empower other women.
In 1994, Sabine opened her first salon, a space that quickly became known not just for excellent treatments but also for being a hub of inspiration where young women could learn, grow, and thrive. She later expanded her reach by offering in-person and online training courses, helping women from diverse backgrounds build their own businesses in the beauty industry. Her mission has always been clear: to uplift women, create opportunities, and ensure that beauty is accessible to all skin tones across South Africa’s rainbow nation.
Sabine’s passion for collaboration has seen her work closely with fellow industry professionals, encouraging women to network, share skills, and rise together. Many of her students and mentees have gone on to launch their own successful ventures — a true testament to her belief that empowered women empower others.
Her commitment to women was further recognised when she won the Woman of Stature Award in the Beauty & Fashion category. For Sabine, this was more than just a personal achievement; it was a moment of celebration for all women who dare to dream, lead, and make a difference. She recalls how humbling it was to meet nominees from all walks of life: “Seeing women making an impact in society and business gave me the belief that our beautiful country is in good hands.”
Today, her salon is more than a destination for beauty — it is a symbol of women’s strength, growth, and empowerment. From permanent makeup and advanced aesthetic treatments to mentorship and training, Sabine continues to transform not only faces but also futures. Clients travel from around the world to visit her, but the true heart of her work lies in the countless women she has inspired to step into their own power.
