The Inspiring Journey of Danè van der Westhuizen: Modeling with Purpose and Passion

My name is Danè van der Westhuizen. I was born in the Western Cape, and I'm 15 years old. My goal in life is to become a public figure who inspires others. Humbleness and love are the keys to my success. I absolutely love modeling and photoshoots, and I really enjoy helping others. It gives me a warm feeling when I see the smiles on other people's faces.

I started modeling at the young age of 4 after Reana van Tonder, the founder of RVT Models, scouted me and saw something special in me. I loved participating in pageants for years and eventually got into photogenic modeling a little later. I believe that participating in pageants is a great way to build self-confidence and improve social skills. In the photogenic side of modeling, I especially enjoy having my hair and makeup done because it makes me feel pretty and like a queen.

As a 15-year-old model, my long-term goals include building a diverse portfolio, gaining experience through various projects, and eventually securing opportunities with reputable brands to establish a strong presence in the industry. Specific milestones include landing magazine covers, walking in fashion shows, and collaborating with influential photographers and designers. Since I was a little girl, I've dreamed of following in the footsteps of my role model, Rolene Strauss, by becoming Miss World and Miss South Africa when I’m old enough to compete. I believe that one day, I can achieve this dream.

Additionally, I aspire to become an engineer or a Chartered Accountant.

Personality:

I'm ambitious, driven, honest, creative, and friendly. Although I'm an introvert, my experience in modeling has helped me adapt to an extroverted personality when I'm on stage.
