My name is Madelaine Snyman.
I grew up in a small mining community called Carletonville. My dreams, since I can remember, were to be in fashion, modeling, acting, and makeup. Little did I know, it was all possible. We lose sight when we are far from the city, thinking it's not possible, but keep hope because it's all possible through grace, faith, hard work, remaining humble, and perseverance.
I'm a wife to a Gentle Giant, owner of Heck Yes Makeup Artistry, celebrity makeup artist, and co-presenter for the TV show, Sterstatus 2024! I've won the chair for best actress, which was a double blessing as I got to play the leading role in our very own short film called IDENTIFISEER. We, as the Sterstatus contestants, created and directed this short film from scratch!
I'm also a Melanoma Level 3 cancer survivor! I am a Lee Cooper SA influencer and an ambassador of Asteria Group Holdings, Asteria Aesthetics, Asteria Financial Services, Biodermal Skin Tech, Rèsa.K Skin Science, MyGoLean Appetite, and Resa Kahn For The Love of Beauty, which gives me the assurance that I've got it all covered with the best group ever.
I'm also an ambassador for Nails of Note Fourways and have been an ambassador for Urban Sass Hair & Beauty Salon & Hey Gorgeous JHB Bryanston. I've appeared on the website of Saxon Hotel Villas and Spa.
I've also been chosen to represent SA at IMTA in NY for modeling and acting. I've been Mrs. Rustenburg Charity & Personality, Mrs. SA Semi-Finalist, Top 5 for Face of Ace Models International, Top 5 Photogenic of the Year 28+, Ace Models International #AMNC, Top 5 for Ms. Ace International Adult Pageant. I also opened the show for ACE MODELS JHB NORTH at the Ace Models International Conference. I did my training with Ace Models JHB North, where I received 1st Princess Ace Adult Model, Personality Award, Commitment Award & Photogenic Adult Winner, with Cathy Heaton as my mentor and director of Ace Models JHB North.
I'm also the Overall Face of PPMC Magazine SA Winner, Best Hair, 2nd Runner-up for Best Eyes 2023! Most Inspirational Women in SA, in PPMC Magazine & Ella Magazine SA. I featured on different magazine front pages such as GIA Glamour Magazine, PPMC Magazine, Ella Magazine, The Portrait Book SA, Prestige Portrait Photography Magazine UK, and Rise and Shine Magazine. I also write beauty articles for different magazines. I've also been chosen to walk in the fashion show for Bespoke Hair and Nails Beauty at the Salon International at Gallagher Estates for Great Hair by SA Hairdressers. I've been nominated by Unplug Magazine for Bravery Category 2024.
I created looks for Ace Models International fashion shows, Mrs. SA, TV, front page covers, magazines, music videos & won the Beauty Award for Women's Lifestyle Network. I also did makeup for Tansey Coetzee Miss SA 2007 (she's also been a Miss World Finalist) & Bokang Montjane Tshabalala Miss SA 2010 at the launch of the Elegant C Class Mercedes at Mercedes-Benz Sandton.
I've also been a judge for different pageants as well as Mr. Mpumalanga & been the main judge for Miss Essence SA by HENNY C. I've been asked to be a speaker at Rustenburg Fashion Week 2024! I've been nominated for the Best Makeup Artist of the Year Award with Sunrise Women Awards & won the Beauty Award for Heck Yes Makeup Artistry with Women's Lifestyle Network.
